Kashmiri Mamra Almonds. A traditional, much-prized almond variety.

Mamra almonds are grown in the cool highlands of Kashmir and are known for their smaller, slightly curved shape, crunchy texture and rich, sweet flavour. Ours are unpolished, so they look and taste just as they come. 100% Mamra variety.

How to use it

• Soaked: Soak a handful in water overnight, peel if you like, and enjoy in the morning. This is a popular tradition in many Indian homes.
• Snack: Eat raw, or dry-roast lightly with a pinch of salt.
• Drinks: Blend into badam milk, smoothies or thandai.
• Sweets and cooking: Use in halwa, kheer, barfi and biryani, or slice for garnishing.

Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Almonds are rich in natural oils, so store them in the fridge after opening for longer freshness.
