Organic Chilli Powder 250g

Chilli powder with bold heat and vibrant colour, pure and unadulterated.

Our Chilli Powder is made from sun-dried, naturally grown chillies, with no artificial colours or added chemicals. It brings real heat and a rich red colour to curries, dals and marinades.

How to use it

• Curries and dals: Add ¼–1 tsp with the other ground spices once the onions are soft. Adjust to how hot you like it.
• Tadka: Add a pinch to hot ghee or oil right at the end, and take it off the heat quickly so it doesn't burn.
• Marinades and rubs: Mix with yoghurt, garlic, lemon and salt for chicken, paneer or fish.
• Finishing: Sprinkle over eggs, fries, fruit chaat or popcorn.

Allergen and safety guidance

This is a hot spice. Keep it away from your eyes and wash your hands after handling. Start with a small amount if you're sensitive to heat, and use it sparingly in food for young children.

Storage

Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry, dark place away from the stove, as heat and light fade the colour and flavour. Use a dry spoon. For the best colour and heat, use within 6 months of opening.
