Stoneground Khapli flour, made from ancient emmer wheat.
Khapli (emmer wheat) is one of the oldest cultivated grains, with a history going back thousands of years. Our Khapli Flour is stone-milled for a slightly coarse texture and a warm, nutty flavour that makes rotis and parathas taste noticeably earthier than everyday atta. No additives or preservatives.
How to use it
- Rotis and chapatis: Knead with warm water into a soft dough and rest for 20–30 minutes before rolling. Khapli may need slightly more water than regular atta.
- Parathas and puris: Use on its own or with fillings like aloo, methi or paneer.
- Baking: Swap for part of the wholewheat flour in breads, muffins and cookies for a nutty flavour.
Ingredients
100% khapli (emmer) wheat.
Allergen and safety guidance
Contains wheat (gluten). Khapli is a type of wheat and is not suitable for people with coeliac disease, a wheat allergy or gluten intolerance.
