Natural rock salt (sendha namak), unrefined and additive-free.

Our Natural Rock Salt is sourced from ancient mineral salt deposits and left unrefined, with no additives, artificial colours or preservatives. It has a clean, mild flavour and is the traditional salt used in Navratri and other vrat (fasting) cooking.

How to use it

• Everyday cooking: Use just like regular salt in curries, dals, soups and baking.
• Vrat recipes: Use in sabudana khichdi, vrat aloo, rajgira rotis and fruit chaat on fasting days.
• Finishing: Sprinkle over salads, raita, cut fruit or buttermilk.

Allergen and safety guidance

This salt is not iodised. If you use it as your main salt, make sure you get iodine from other sources, such as iodised salt, dairy, eggs or seafood. Like all salt, use it in moderation, especially if you've been advised to limit sodium.

Storage

Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Salt naturally absorbs moisture in humid weather and may clump. Just break it up, as this doesn't affect quality.
