Triphala, a traditional Ayurvedic blend of three fruits used for centuries.

Our Triphala Powder is a traditional blend of three dried fruits: amalaki (Indian gooseberry), bibhitaki and haritaki, finely ground with no additives. It has a distinctive sour, bitter and slightly astringent taste, and it has been part of Ayurvedic tradition in India for generations.

How to use it

• Traditional way: Stir a small amount (about ½ tsp) into a glass of warm water. It is traditionally taken in the evening.
• With honey: Mix with a little honey to soften the bitter taste.
• Start small: Begin with a small amount and don't exceed the serving size on the pack.

Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), haritaki (Terminalia chebula).

This is a food product, not a medicine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Not recommended for children. Triphala can have a laxative effect, so avoid it if you have diarrhoea or a sensitive stomach. Speak to your doctor before use if you have a medical condition or take regular medication, especially blood thinners or medication for diabetes. Stop use if you notice stomach upset or any other side effects.

Storage

Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry, dark place. Use a dry spoon. Keep out of reach of children.
