Bhimseni camphor for puja, aarti and a fresh-smelling home.
Our Bhimseni Camphor (bhimseni kapoor) is natural camphor, traditionally prized for its clean, sharp, cooling aroma. It burns brightly with little residue, which makes it a favourite for aarti, havan and daily puja.
How to use it
- Puja and aarti: Place a small piece on a heat-proof camphor holder or aarti plate and light it. Never hold it in your hand while burning.
- Home fragrance: Leave a few pieces in a small open bowl, or warm gently in a camphor diffuser, to scent a room.
- Wardrobes and cupboards: Traditionally, a few pieces wrapped in cloth are tucked among stored clothes and linens to keep them smelling fresh.
Ingredients
100% Bhimseni camphor.
Allergen and safety guidance
Not for eating. Harmful if swallowed. Keep well out of reach of children and pets, as even a small amount can be dangerous if eaten. If swallowed, get medical help immediately.
Camphor is highly flammable. Burn only on a heat-proof surface, away from curtains and other flammable materials, and never leave it burning unattended. Use in a well-ventilated room. Do not apply to the skin of babies or young children. Avoid contact with eyes. People who are pregnant, or who have asthma or epilepsy, should avoid exposure to strong camphor fumes.
Storage
Camphor evaporates naturally over time. Keep it in an airtight container, in a cool place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and out of reach of children.
